Author Interview: Tena Stetler
A trip to The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado. It’s rumored to have connections to Stephen Kings, The Shining. Just standing in front of the series of buildings that make up the hotel makes the hair on the back of my neck stand on end. Of course, everyone knows, I have an overactive imagination. LOL.
Five Star Reviews
Todd and Nick make this book an effortless read. The pair’s chemistry is off the charts, their sex is inventive, fun, and steamy, and they complement each other perfectly, yin to yang. I liked the preface, which gave me a good amount of background since I hadn’t read the first book in the series. I was able to jump right in and enjoy the duo’s new adventure.
This is the third book in the Soldati Hearts series and while it could be read as a stand alone, there is a story arc that continues through that would be less successful without reading them in order.
When Glen Echo goes in search of boy band lead singer Cash Harper he has no idea how it will change his life. He found Cash in Mexico sitting at a poker table with one of the players holding a knife and another holding a gun. Getting Cash out safely and hiding away at a motel and with their adrenalin high they wind up in bed together. Waking up Glen discovers that Cash is missing again and a night of sex seems to be all Cash desired.
When we left off in book two Aaron and Julissa were stuck in a white out on the mountain and near death prompting Julissa to encourage Aaron to take her life force keeping him alive so that he could get help. Now a helicopter has arrived to save Julissa and she discovers that she has been in a coma for nine days and there is something wrong with her blood.
When we left off in book 3, Julissa just heard the words her mother is dead. At first believed to be a car accident caused by a drunk driver but then after investigation it was ruled murder. Once again Julissa is alone she lost her father, uncle, friend and now her mother. Aaron is gone and as a minor her aunt who she never knew has been granted guardianship. She has few options open to her when Dr. Z makes an offer to help her become emancipated, buying her her own home and supplying everything she needs to live, only negative she has to agree to be a guinea pig.
When we left Sophie in book two, she was still trying to come to grips with why Taj left and told her he was never coming back. Her only way of finding out is to go to Malaysia and see him face to face for answers. Malaysia is like a different world to Sophie. I can relate to her shock at having to squat to use the bathroom; I had the same experience in Thailand. When she arrives at Taj’s home she discovers that his ten year old brother Dev is ill. No doctor has been able to help him, so the question is: is it supernatural, as his mother believes, or is it something else?
